Would Minnesota court Tim Miles?

They just fired Tubby, I've pointed out he's a hometown hero up in N.E. South Dakota, and Minnesota would be closer to home.

I'd think he'd have to at least sleep on it.

yesterday was the one year anniversary of miles hire.

also sam mac already said on 93.7 that if miles wouldn't have stayed at CSU one more year, he be the coach there.

I can't think of a better fit for him outside Nebraska.
When I posted a couple weeks ago that Miles wouldn't leave Nebraska, I wasn't expecting the Minnesota job to open any time soon.

If he's gonna leave, it would be easier for him to do it before he built anything he was attached to. It would also be better for his kids to move while they're young.

Yep, but he showed he's not afraid to leave.

If Minnesota really does court Tim, that tells you something about how good of a hire Tom made.

If he keeps doing his job right then there will be scares every single season.

You've got to take your opportunities when they come and I wouldn't blame the guy. He's got a young family.

He wasn't at Colorado St that long either. Just long enough to make a name for himself. Minnesota already has top notch talent and for all practical purposes it is home for him.

Plus he beat Minnesota this year. There's no doubt the guy can coach and will be around a long time.

His upper lip still freaks me out a little. It looks like he had a cleft lip repaired at some point.

I wouldn't be concerned about anybody but Minnesota.

His resume shows Ft Collins as being the farthest he's been from home. Even then Ft Collins is only a skip through SE Wyoming from South Dakota. Lincoln got him a little closer to home.

I don't think money would be as big a factor. Facilities maybe.
