No reason they shouldn't be. They struggled with Weber State, beat Texas State handily, and struggled with Bowling Green. Nothing to show they won't be shitty again this year.
You should note that I'm not the one "trumpeting" my teams accomplishments (or lack thereof). Based on the way Clemson played the first two games, I never would have thought we would dominate Auburn like we did. However, I am limited by the scheduled teams (insofar as my analysis goes) and thus far it's more likely two of the teams Clemson has beaten will play in bowls when all is said and done.
