Really expected Australia to go through to the knockout round, don't think that'll happen now.

You ever get tired of being wrong?

Why are so many soccerball teams opposed to winning me some money?

I’m gonna starting betting opposite like I did DJ

No chance now unless Australia scores 3 goals in last 10 minutes. They would also need France to score against Denmark

Well, there are three options, so we could BOTH lose money

Something TOLD me to go with a draw on France-Denmark, but then France would have definitely won, so... no thanks

Seriously? They barely made the tourney. Denmark hasn’t lost in their last 18 matches.

Denmark is always one of those solid teams that everyone forgets about. Rarely do they have any superstars, but always give "big" teams fits.

Missed the morning games. Had to take the wife to the doctor. My picks. France 2-1, Peru 2-1, Argentina 2-1 and Croatia 2-0.

Hummels fit for Germany tomorrow. Probably him and Rudiger starting with the Boetang red card suspension. Rudy with a broken nose had surgery and not likely to play. Also South Korea Captain Ki Sung-yueng out with a muscle issue. Any help Germany can get fine with me.

Germany WILL win. I think they turned the corner in the last game.

Need to win by 2 goals to ensure moving on. Funny if Sweden beats Mexico by two and all the SportsHoopla around Mexico will be gone. 6 points for someone and they may not make it. I knew this could be the group of death when the groups were determined.

Not really when you consider the region we play in and the teams we had left on the schedule when Arenas took over.

There were 8 games left and only 2 against Mexico/Costa Rica.

The fact that Arena only managed to win 3 of those 8 games when we played Panama, Honduras, & T&T 2X each is a joke. Those 6 games alone should amount in at least 4 wins & 2 draws. 0 losses.

We instead go 3-1-2 in those games dropping a critical 5 points....And to cap it off, we lose to T&T in the final game who won only once before in 9 tries.

All we needed was a simple draw and we're in without needing the playoffs I believe.

I really can’t argue against too much when it comes to Arena. However, I still think whoever came in and took over from that point would have faced extreme challenge on getting this squad back on track.

Juergen came in and ended up poisoning this squad. And when a squad is so lost (players having to come up with tactics in the tunnel before the match because the coaching staff couldn’t be bothered) anyone has a hell of a challenge, no matter the competition.

I won’t say Arena holds no taint here. I’m just saying you can’t give Arena his blame and not give Juergen his for even having this squad in such a position.

true. But the players also deserve a fair amount of blame by not stepping up when it mattered and thinking all they had to do to beat the likes of Panama and Trinidad was show up.

Yeah that’s bullshit. I love how everyone forgets just how much he contributed to Us Soccer. Fuck the MLS cronies, Jurgen knew what he was doing.

Arenas and Bradley can go suck a nice big fat choad

Lol THIS. How the fuck do you blame Jurgen for not beating fucking T&T when he had been sacked for months?

Bullshit revisionism.
