It looks like Urrutia will be the primary LH DH, so hopefully he can hit for some power with his extra weight he's added. I guess Davis or Wieters could be DH in a pinch too. I thought Colvin would've helped, but again they pull some sort of crap regarding the physical. :noidea::L:gaah:

Urrutia had 1 extra-base hit and 0 walks in 58 at bats last year. Unless he had access to Yasiel Puig's medicine cabinet this offseason, the only position for him in the majors is pinch hitter in the National League.

uuuuuuuuu has gained 20 lbs of muscle over the winter and is pulling the ball . uuuuuuuuu was knocking off 2 years of rust off of him .

Again, he had (1) extra base hit and routinely went opposite field with most of his hits. Now your saying he is pulling the ball. Off what pitching? How many games and what kind of power numbers did he put up? If the O's can find a way to screw things up, they continually show consistency in this area.

I would imagine it was winter ball

I wouldn't judge a hitter by the stats he put up in the AFL. It's a hitters league and teams typically don't send their top pitching prospects. Urrutia should be putting up big numbers in winter ball. I do think he should be given a shot at the left field position though.

Here's another report on Urrutia...

JUST OUTSIDE THE ARIZONA FALL LEAGUE TOP 20-HENRY URRUTIA

here's an excerpt...

While he isn’t Darryl Strawberry, Henry Urrutia’s sound hitting mechanics should provide assistance to the Orioles from the left side of the plate. In fact, he may be “Darryl Strawberry-The Line-Drive Edition.”
