A.J. Epenesa from Iowa would be a great pick at 32 as well, regardless of their already-great DL. Can't have too many great DL. And who knows if they'll tag Arik Armstead or not. :noidea:

Doubt he drops all the way to 32, but the Niners should nab him if he does.

9ers best course of action no matter where they draft is to trade the pick considering they don't have a 2nd or 3rd rounder this year.

Which funnily enough now that I type that the Chiefs have the 9ers 2nd round pick for Dee Ford which would one of those funny instances where the guy you traded could potentially be the reason you lose the Super Bowl. At worse he'd be one of the reason that 2nd rounder is at one slot from the bottom of the 2nd round.

He already took one Super Bowl from us. Better not be two.

Good point. Niners probably trade the 32nd pick for more picks later.

Yeah wouldn't that be something if he had a strip sack when the Chiefs were driving for a game winning score.

On the flip side it'd be something if he lined up offsides on 4th down giving the Chiefs a free first down that lead to a game winning score.

Don't know if I'd be crying hysterically or laughing hysterically if that one happens.

Still think drafting a CB at 32 would be a good idea. Nonetheless...

If they keep the pick (which they shouldn't) taking a CB would be fine since Sherman isn't getting any younger and the #2 spot across him is still up in the air though Moseley has played well in that spot.

They just can't count on Witherspoon which is frustrating because it's clear he has the ability and you see why he was a 3rd rounder but it just seems like he doesn't have the mental makeup to do it. Feels like he's a kid that's riding a bike just fine until he realizes dad isn't holding it up for anymore and he panics and falls off of it.

A lot of times not giving up too many 20+ yards has to do with pass rush, not always about the DB.

Niners are set at LB, but will they continue to pay Kwon if he's injured so much? :noidea:

It's a front end and back end working together stat since the pass rush will reduce the time a QB has to throw and lessen the odds of them completing a big play but your pass rush isn't always going to get home so your secondary still has to do it's job as well.

if you are saying they play a part together. I am fine with that.
I was pointing out when the media explains other wise. (with stats)

Complete bullshit!
Especially with the Niners!

That is a complete Defense!
