Seriously...if he's getting hit around that one thing. But not being able to throw.strikes will give any manager gray hairs.

Buck knows it..... all the other pitchers throw strikes and he was a starter. If your starter cant throw strikes then there is no other choice and Buck WONT let a big contract keep this team down and the GM knows it

Maybe I'm nitpicking, but I would've walked Mauer there even to load the bases, it sets up the dp and takes the bat out of his hands. At worst the next guy(who ended up getting a hit anyway) may sacrifice a run in but the Miller probably gets out of it.

Agreed, I thought for sure they would walk Mauer.

Buck should have pulled Gausman as soon as he walked the first batter in the 8th. Today was almost like he just didnt want to use the BP if he didnt have to.
