I will cry when he leaves. No doubt about that. But on the other hand, I'll understand why he's leaving. He's done all that he can really at UCF. It's not like UCF will be in the playoff or anything like that. Thanks for 1 good year and a 2nd GREAT year, Coach Frost!

You're right, but I'm wondering if Frost would leave the sunny climate of Orlando to coach at his alma mater where the expectations are unrealistic, it will be high pressure and he'll lose 3-6 games a year. I have a lot of disdain for Nebraska, mainly due to their cry baby fan base, but putting that aside I don't think any coach in the country can save their program, or at least bring it back to the level the legendary Tom Osborne had it. So much has changed that will not allow NU to dominate the way they did under Osborne. Not even Saban could make NU a NC contender.

Why leave UCF where there are zero expectations and pressure to win conference titles and nattys? He's making I believe $1.7M right now and could probably squeeze another million out of UCF to stay. He's in a state where there are plenty of stud athletes to go around and if UCF plays their cards right, they might be a member of the Big 12 in the foreseeable future. Ask Charlie Strong how it feels to coach at a school where there is zero tradition and zero expectations and the competition is easier? He's freakin' loving USF and might never leave.

1999 (24-20) .....4 pts
2002 (27-24)......3 pts
2003 (31-7).... There's a beating
2006 (22-20).....2 pts
2007 (28-25).....3 pts
2009 (13-12).....1 pt
2010 (20-13).....7 pts

I see one year that meets the definition "beat on".

Even then the rest of those are tejas under-achieving even though they had the Big 12 Commissioner (Beebe) in their back pocket.

I hope he stays but the chances of that aren't good. UCF would definitely pay him more to stay and with Florida and Florida State sucking...maybe we could steal some recruits from them!

Gotta love a dumbshit Husker fan calling another program under achieving when they haven't mattered in the NC picture in almost 20 years and haven't won a conference title since '99.........

Nebraska certainly has higher expectations than the under-achieving tejas 5-7 expectations. However, they're not unrealistic.

2015: How's 5-7 tejas doing?
2016: How's 5-7 tejas doing?
2017: How's 3-4 tejas doing?

Oh yeah. Still Underachieving like no other.

Im sure it sucks for them, they built their dynasty on partial qualifiers and now the Big ten won't allow that.

Naw. Iowa likes 5-7 coaches as much as tejas does.

Difference is Iowa keeps the same one on the payroll where tejas sends each one away wealthy, just to bring in another, and another, and another.

I honestly can't believe Texas fans talk this much shit. They've sucked balls for a while now. I guess they just don't like the taste of humble pie. Maybe a few more years of this around .500 crap will humble them...

Actually they no longer have the 'Time out of office" recruiting restrictions that tejas got passed when the Big 12 was formed. Y'all some slick mf'ers getting everyone to buy into that to knock the pins out from under Nebraska. Of course something like that wasn't going to affect tejas being in the middle of such a talent pool. tejas could under-achieve even with all the advantages they set for themselves.
BTW Scott Frost took a scholly to Stanford, before transfering back to Nebraska after 2 years. Partial qualifier eh?
Let me ask Wonderlic 6 Vince Young what he thinks of that.

They are under-achievers.
When you look up under-achieves in the dictionary, there is a donghorn picture there.
Everything tejas touches turns to shit. It's because they always have some underhanded agenda. Karma at it's best.

Do you deny that tejas is the biggest under-achiever in CFB?
