ISU loses great receiving corp but returns Kempf and Montgomery. Iowa lost The Outlaw (Josey Jewell) and Josh Jackson. They went into OT with ISU this past season and Iowa State played Jacob Park.
Yeah, I’d have to agree. The Seneca Wallace year were fun to watch, even though they faltered down the stretch. But they had some playmakers this year, especially at the WR position. That is my favorite rivalry game outside of Washington vs Washington St. I usually pull for ISU just because they're the underdog in that game. With that said, ISU looked super solid last season and I mean they looked as good if not better than I have ever seen them.
I figured ISU made a bad coaching hire ... I thought they should have hired Willie Fritz (Tulane) but Campbell had 'em rolling last year.Yeah, I’d have to agree. I've never had any problems with Iowa State.
For a school that doesn't win very much, they have excellent crowd support
and attendance. They've increased stadium capacity a couple of times in the
last 20 or so years.
Those people stick with them
