Wow, I already expected a lot of Peterson, but if they win tonight without Ponder, who is no star anyway, that's further value to the team for Peterson. Unless, which seems unlikely, Webb can surprise some. I know you guys don't like Favre, but I thought I read him being high on Webb as the future QB (after he left, eventually). Of course, at the time, Favre pre-injury had decided to retire/unretired three more years before waffling some more.

He's supposedly going to show up earlier than team to test out the elbow. My gut is he starts BUT Webb has gotten most first team reps this week.

Webb has won a big game against the Eagles a couple seasons ago.
He's more of a Tebow type though, I'm not a fan of his, but he can win.
With the pack game planning for Ponder, Webb has a shot at a good game.

Joe Webb just made the dumbest play I've seen in a long time avoiding the sack. He was very lucky that wasn't picked.

He almost threw it straight up.
