whats the difference between a late night college bball game on a Friday or a saturday? espn pumps in big matchups nearly every Saturday night at 8 central time
The NCAA back in the day, did not want conflicts with high school games so they asked all colleges to observe Fridays specifically for just high school athletics. That's why there isn't any football games usually scheduled on Friday nights. But since the growth and demand of ESPN along with college athletics to be televised almost every day of the week, Friday nights are the last of the holdouts.
