I will never forget the look on Nolan Ryans face when the Rangers were 1 out away from winning the world series twice and they choked

The Rangers still aren't on the same level of bad luck as the Yankees were on last season.

Look it up.

Should've never traded for Fielder...hitters like that tend not to age well in their 30s.

I heard the Rangers are being punished for having a stadium in close proximity to Sky Mirror. Idol worshiping and whatnot.

By the end of the year, even with our injuries, I bet we are

Angels lineup should be among the best in the AL and they could end up having a pretty decent rotation. Weaver and Wilson are good. Richards will probably regress, but he's shown a lot of improvement (especially in the strikeout department) and Skaggs was a highly touted prospect (and has looked better so far this year). Pretty iffy on Santiago though, last year seemed pretty fluky.

Apparnetly because God hates the Tigers just a little less. No matter what any Tiger fan felt about Fielder trade, pretty sure that tune has changed.

and we will still end up better than the Mariners. :dhd:

The M's are one of the worst teams in baseball with a completely indifferent front office.

Sadly enough for Texas, if you add up the remaining 2014 salaries of all of the players on your DL, you get about $45 million, which is about how much more total payroll the Rangers have than the M's.

If the Rangers don't at least stay ahead of the puny M's, then they're a miserable failure of a club as well.

Santiago got sent down. Needs a LOT of work.
