Some of the same people that pushed for the 'and one' back when it was the BCS and there were arguments over which team really belonged at two and said adding two more was perfect, are now banging drums that we must have 8 because 3-5 is so cloudy. Of course they again insist it won't be necessary to go beyond that 8. Until they get 8 and then it's a crime that some 2 loss team was left out over a 3 loss team so damn it, we must have 16!!

Everyone that is objective knows Wisconsin had a crap schedule and was a fraudulent undefeated team going into that CCG. They got lucky and avoided the teams with teeth, and/or caught expected decent teams at down points and coasted their way through. Trying to create an argument they played more P5's is pure troll bait to stir up drama and the fact this thing went 4 pages overnight is proof it works. OP got what he wanted. I mean he can't really be dumb enough to buy into his own bullshit so it's clear what his motive was.

The committee should punish Wisconsin, and Washington, and every team with a weak SoS. If there is any argument Bama didn't belong it was with Ohio State, not Wisconsin which leaves this as a way to troll wisky fans and stir up shit more than creating a legit discussion on who got hosed.

Lets be honest. If you were a Wisconsin fan and your team went 12-1 and its only loss was in the CCG to a team that was close to making the playoff you'd think you got screwed over. So I got not issues with Wisconsin people being down about it. An OP Washington fan with constant pics of Petersen , well thats just a troll who never sleeps.
While Alabama didnt play a great schedule either, part their fault and part bad luck they were probably the best team most of the year and did nothing really bad (lose to iowa) to knock themselves out of the conversation. The truth is the winner of the BG10 CCG was still not going to be as good as Bama but Wisconsin had to win that game to get in and when you know you have to win to get in and you don't then you don't deserve to get in because that was your playoff game.
Play better schedule better.

Everyone knew Wisconsin had to beat Ohio St to get in, and that if they had won that game they would have gotten in.

Of the P5 conferences The Big10 had a higher percentage of conf members NOT bowl
eligible than all the others.

1- Big12 80% of their membership is bowl eligible
2- Pac12 75% of their membership is bowl eligible
3- ACC 71% of their membership is bowl eligible
4- SEC 64% of their membership is bowl eligible
5- Big10 57% of their membership is bowl eligible

There currently are on-going discussions about stripping the Big10
of their Power 5 status and replacing them with the Sun Belt.

If the playoff committee is not going to consider unbeaten UCF or 2-loss
Memphis (both losses coming to UCF @ UCF) why would they ever consider
