1 TD all season, and since the bye(week 4) he has only had 7 targets a game at maximum...

I know of no reason that he would make that offer. Seems too good to be true.

All ready has one vote against it. I imagine it will be voted down.

It shouldn't be voted down. Unless he makes a statement saying he was drunk or clicked the wrong player. Here's to it going thru!!!:suds:

Looks like a fair trade to me - a possible huge RB1/possible nothin' for a decent WR2.

He might have a stronger man-crush on Ball than you do. Not missing anything. Ball is still out, hoping to return in week 9.

I'm not sure that Ball gets the starting job back when he returns. On the other hand, I'm pretty confident that Sanders has a big season, despite having only one TD and only few catches the past two weeks. Seems like a pretty crazy trade to me.

hillman has only been the number one RB for 2+ games, lets not go crazy on him... Ball is still the future!!!

Ball was running very tentatively this year, kind of like he was to begin last season. Hillman, Thompson, and Anderson have all run much more decisively. I don't claim that Ball won't regain the starting job, but I don't think it's guaranteed.

He's been injured, so he gets some slack, but...... his highest yardage output is 67, in Week 1.

Then we have what IMO were pass protection and ball control issues early on last year. (By early, Im talking games that didn't count.). I don't see Denver pushing "the future" when Manning is running things now.

Could get a start, I just don't think it's because he gets it back because it was his for two or three weeks.

Maybe he is a Steeler fan was drunking while watching too many of his old highlights dropping passes during clutch situations.

I just wish Ball would've gotten more than two touches after the bye when the Donkeys scraped their two tight end offense that they used the first 3 weeks, and went back to what made them the record setting offense last year. Then maybe there would be some basis for actual comparisons between what he did and what the guys are doing now. But it's two entirely different offenses, there's no control to use when comparing the backs and wondering who might do what.

I understand why you would take the deal, but I am not sure why you are questioning why it was offered.

Saunders is a nice player, but he is a WR2. Guys like him are a dime a dozen. Ball might finish the season as a Hillman compliment or as a high end RB. Either way, if the other owner has WR depth to spare, this is an awesome gamble.

As for the veto thing, while I never thing vetoes are OK in a trade like this, some may be vetoing because they think HE has the good side of the deal.

I wouldn't veto a trade unless it was obvious that one guy who is out of contention is trading all his good players to a contender for nothing.
