I don't believe I have ever expressed a hatred of him. But okay, I respect your opinion.

Swann was clutch. Pretty similar though but I would take Swann, not by much

You know i'm always going Swann. He was making acrobatic catches against some rough defenses. I think systems played a role in the numbers. Steelers were a little more of a balanced team. Jefferson was in a pass happy Fouts offense. Also pretty sure Jeffersons numbers took a pretty big hit when he moved on up to the east side.

Was John Jefferson ever drafted in one of your mock drafts?

I myself have taken him a few times so has Troy. Trust me if you were old enough to have seen Johnny J play you would understand my opinion of him.

I do remember those old Charger teams. They were pretty loaded at WR/TE. And I do think Jefferson was a great player. But I just cant compare him to Swann. Swann may not have been the flashiest player. Although he really had his m,moments. Stats are comparable. But with Swann its not the stats I look at. Even the National Championship or 4 Super Bowl rings. What 'll always remember Swann for is being clutch. If a play needed to be made Swann always came up big. Thats not something you see in the stats. Swanny had a knack for coming up big in big games

I’ll take your word for it. You told me TX was amazing and that was a true statement as well.

Stats look pretty much even to me.

JJ could be considered a snub for least impressive HOFer. Right with Joe Willie and Swann. And Curtis Martin.
