I agree. Shouldn't have had TCU that high or should have had tOSU higher prior to the last ranking.Penn State had 2 losses, so did Ohio State.
I went with TCU simply because they dropped from 3rd to 6th with no rational explanation and had only one loss.
Yeah, that was the clusterfuck of all clusterfucks. Then there’s the Baylor had the head to head win. Blame the big 12 for trying to get both teams in the playoffs with their cochampions bull shit.
This would be 100% true if there were four undefeated teams in the playoffs. None lost.Won't be a snub until an undefeated power 5 team gets left out. Everyone controls their own fate until they lose. Don't lose
. I don't think Penn State would have done any better than Ohio State, neither would USC, who beat PSU.
They all have flaws but there is no convincing argument that a team that didn't get in should have before one that did. The playoffs do not need to be expanded until there is an incredibly strong argument that a team left out was completely screwed. This year it was tough to find a 4th team do 6 tests makes zero sense.
All you are doing is begging for 2 SEC and 2 B1G teams a year to get in.I agree, I don't think there was that big snub ... but I would like to see all P5 Conferences represented and an 8 team playoff.

Kinda ridiculous 4 is plenty.

2014-15 no one got snubbed. Blame the conference that claimed ‘one true champion, everything settled on the field’ then didn’t have the balls to say Baylor was the true champion and hid behind the term co-champion in hopes one would slip in.Whether they got snubbed or not, these teams had controversies over not getting into the CFP.
2014-15 Playoffs: #1 Alabama (12-1, SEC Champ), #2 Oregon (12-1, Pac 12 Champ), #3 Florida State (13-0, ACC Champ), #4 Ohio State (12-1, B1G Champ)
Snubs
#5 Baylor (11-1, Big 12 Co-Champ)
#6 TCU (11-1, Big 12 Co-Champ)
----------------------------
2015-16 Playoffs: No controversy over Playoff spot. 1-loss Iowa was #5 (weak schedule and losing to MSU in CCG) and 2-loss Stanford were not going to get in anyway. Other 4 P5 champions were undefeated or had -loss.
------------------------------
2016-17 Playoffs: #1 Alabama (13-0, SEC Champ), #2 Clemson (12-1, ACC Champ), #3 Ohio State (11-1, B1G West #2), Washington (12-1, Pac 12 Champ)
Snub
#5 Penn State (11-2, B1G Champ)
-----------------------------
2017-18 Playoffs: #1 Clemson (12-1, ACC Champ), #2 Oklahoma (12-1, Big 12 Champ), #3 Georgia (12-1, SEC Champ), #4 Alabama (11-1, SEC West #2)
Snub
#5 Ohio State (12-1, B1G Champ)
Baylor's schedule was so bad, they had 0 chance. Big 12 putting co-champ gave TCU a chance. I don't think anyone thought both could make it. Oddly the team that didn't belong was the only undefeated teamThen there’s the Baylor had the head to head win. Blame the big 12 for trying to get both teams in the playoffs with their cochampions bull shit.
