When you think of players who haven't won a SB ring or never did in their prime, but based off play and the person they were who comes to mind, that you felt really deserved to win one and never did or hasn't? No matter what team don't hate on your rivals. When I think of my teams rival I think of Tony Gonzalez, great guy, great player.

Current player for me is Larry Fitzgerald. I love the way he plays the game and just the fact that he never complained when his QB was just down right terrible yet he still went out and gave full effort every game.

And although it may not be a popular choice, Terrell Owens is on my list. He balled the fuck out in that Super Bowl. Probably would have been MVP had the Eagles won.

Well I am in the group that the only players that deserve SB rings are the ones that came out on top.

But IF I had to give a ring to a player who never got one by winning a SB. I think Hank Gremminger would be the one.

You always have those players though that just go to bad organizations that just never get the chance. I always think of Barry Sanders as the perfect example. Bad organization that just never built a team around him good enough to win the whole thing. He gave incredible individual effort to try and help his team out but even with his magic it wasn't usually enough.

And then you have those players who are completely carried by others when they are just down right terrible players.

Gremminger made my non-list as he was a key part of Lombardi's rebuild of the Packers. There from the start, key cog on their D for their dominance during the 60's and traded at the tail end of his career the 0ff-season before the first SB.
