Which team has the most Top 50 RPI wins?

Was doing some research earlier and came across something that really surprised me.

You'll never guess who leads the country in top 50 wins at this point in the season.

These are according to ESPN's RPI numbers.

Damnit I knew this one!! LOL. Not too bad for a team that only won 5 games period 2 years ago.

They must be doing something right at that athletic department. Considering they are a smaller city school and almost brand new to playing football (2009) they have also had a fairly successful program. Even their 6-6 mark this season has to be considered somewhat of a success considering they had recently made the jump to FBS.

All I remember about the school is that their women's basketball program was a big deal in the 80's.

Can't take full credit for that. I knew they were having a good season, so they were one of the teams I was looking for. But I wouldn't have known for sure, and absolutely didn't know they had 4 wins.
