Gonna go with QB A. I like what I see out of QB A the most. That high completion percentage with the overall yardage (despite 7.77 y/attempt) means to me the team is seeing more first downs than the other QBs (could be wrong, just what it means to me). I'd rather have a QB consistently putting up 1/2 yard less while being above completion % and 800 more yards...

That means they are consistently moving the ball more, whether we're talking 3-5 yards vs. 8-10, I don't care. I want more 3rd and 5s than 3rd and 8s with a big play against a busted D. I'd rank in order:

QB A (mentioned above)
QB C (great TD/INT ratio, great %)
QB B (little less % than above, value Y/AT less)
QB E (wtf interceptions? Jesus)
QB D (nice 59.8% bro)

My opinion excludes rushing relevance.

C.

...And by the "no cheating" qualifier, does that mean Tom Brady was left off the list?

Tough call between B and C but figure the 600yrds and TD make up for the 3 more picks... but again, tough call.

C, but A and B are close.

D is the worst IMO (worst comp%, ypa, yards), the fact that his 35/10 Td to Int is decent makes me believe that his team tried to open up the pass with the run

But, in all fairness, the number of games should be included here so a QB is punished if they miss time. Also, its arguable that some QBs rushing ability makes them that much more valuable.

Stupid poll if you ask me because it doesn't include running numbers which hurts a dual threat QB case.

Thread should be renamed which of these qbs is the best passer

Exactly why the poll is stupid. Eliminating the rushing factor is nonsense

Cherry-picking stats is fun. I can do it too, but I won't, because it's pointless.

You knew a majority would pick Russell Wilson... Fans of their own team do this crap all the time. Why did you chose to compare him against these specific four and not other QBs with much better seasons?

I picked based on the given stats. I think most did. You are just falling back on the "picked because he is on their team" thing because you don't want to admit that this specific stat set does show Wilson as the top or close to the top of the given options. Admitably these stats do not tell the whole story though.

No matter how great his rushing stats are (and they are damn good), I still have an issue with a QB who is 28th in the league in completion percentage being touted as the MVP. That is just wrong.

Does your statement mean that you would pick Stafford if his stats were put up there?

Team record and points scored are 2 consistent factors when you look at past QB MVPs winners. Cam tops Palmer with both. IMO I think co-MVPs is a real possibility when you include stats with record and points scored.
