Back in the early 80's when I was a kid, I was at a Texas Rangers game with my cousins and our Grandfather.
It was like nickel beer night, or some crazy shit like that, and I remember thinking, all these adults are drunk.

One thing led to another and someone yelled at someone else and then POOF, there was an all out Redneck vs. Latino fist fight in the right field stands.

Me and my cousins were so entertained, we had popcorn, peanuts and a soda. And a brawl.

Not sure if the Rangers won as they were pretty crappy back then, but I did see an old fat drunk Mexican dude get knocked the phuck out.

Not really bad, but kind of funny. Back in the early 70s when I would go to watch Padres games at the Murph, there was a guy with season tickets that always brought a carved wooden arm with a hand that displayed the middle finger. He had a tendency to have a few too many beers, and when the Padres were playing poorly, or an umpire made a bad call, he would run down to the railing and lift the carving up and begin a drunken rant. He was escorted out on a couple of occasions.

Only been to a handful of games but I once witnessed the guy a row ahead of me shit himself.

Morbidly obese dude and somehow he only realised it about 30 minutes after we did.

Was a hot day too.... :gaah:

Nothing too violent...

Probably 20 years ago or so... We were at a non-Red Sox game at Yankee Stadium - wearing our B caps. We were in the upper decks and enjoyed a ton of heckling. A few times, some food fell out of the sky and landed near us. Not sure where it cam from... Towards the end of the game, the cries became less creative and more vulgar and a little rude.... I was alway greatful that NY won that game. Who know how those people would have acted if they were upset.... Good times!

But that is not the worst thing I witnessed. Back in the early days of the interleague fiasco, I was at a Mets game at Fenway. This was back in the horrible era when HR were common and scores were frequently 10-8. I was lucky to get a pitching duel (the best kind of game) with Tim Wakefield on the mound. It may have been 0-0 or 1-1 in the late innings and knuckle-head (as we used to call him) had a runner on third..... I must have glanced at my score card between pitches - and when I looked up, the runner was walking home to score the winning run.... Yep, losing the game on a balk was the worst thing I have ever witnessed live...

I shat myself at a baseball game when I was 10 years old... I was with my friend and his father... the car ride home was enjoyable for me, because I was telling my friend the future through the tea leaves on my attempted to wash underwear...

cubs-white sox games. every game ive went to involved these teams is just a brawl fest between fans.

this yr I had two girls who were indian fans sitting next to us at sox park. they were both hammered and it didn't end well. they were yelling to swisher all game. he finally gave them attention. he threw them a ball. a sox fan in front of them caught it. went to hand it to them and then threw it back on the field. for the final 3 innings it was the 2 girls screaming at the guy and eventually one of them threw there beer at him. funny at first but got extremely annoying after 3 innings of them talking about the fucking ball.

I've seen a few pitchers and 3rd basemen get smoked by a line drive from back when I played. That is some ugly stuff right there.

A few years ago I drove up to San Fran and took a two kids of a friend of mine to a Padres/Giants game. Not one word was said about my Padres hat or hoodie. However, a guy wearing a Dodger hat got up and started walking to the concession stand and the F bombs were flying. LOL!

I was at that one, too (at 14).
I still think that was the best catch of his career.

I saw something terrible. Ruined the whole damned game and bothered me all the way home.

I was sitting down the 3rd base line at Petco for a Brew Crew game back in about '11 and there's this very drunk, very loud, very obnoxious couple (man and woman) sitting 2 rows behind me and my son. They were Brewers fans but for some reason they were riding Cory Hart really hard. I remember her drunkenly slurring shit about "Cory Fart" over and over again to the point where people were starting to turn around and tell them to STFU (nicely). Well, they keep on. The guy sitting next to me gets pissed and does the right thing and goes to get security. well, as they're walking down the aisle, this very fat old man (close to 80) stands up and gets in her face. She starts talking nasty to him like she wants to fight and I shit you not, out of nowhere this old man throws the slowest haymaker in the history of fistfighting and busts this gal right in the mouth. We were all facepalming and she instantly starts screaming crying like a little child. Fortunately, her husband was so shocked, drunk and confused as to how to react to a very old man that by the time he jumped up, security and the cops were all over it. A few fans followed them up the aisle and came back and reported later that everyone made up and no charges were filed but they were cited and tossed.

It was a terrible thing to see an ancient old man slap a woman. :L So fuckin humiliating.

wait, actually just thought of another one.

Sitting in basically the same area (now I sit out in the left-field stands right by the Padres bullpen) down the 3rd base line and saw a laser-beam foul ball smack a woman right smack dab in the face. I remember Jeff Francouer was playing right field and he couldn't stop looking up there. There were women in the area crying and her husband was screaming for help. Was a terrible thing to witness. I later heard from a stadium attendant who remembered that day and he told me that he heard she had had to be put in a coma to relieve brain swelling and was going to need all sorts of surgery to rebuild her face. I saw it hit her and she's fortunate to be alive.

I really don't know why Dodgers/Giants fans put themselves in that position. You're not getting inside AT&T for less than a bill and then you're going to have to endure all that abuse? No thanks.

They really are out of control. And violent. The best policy is to stay far away from Giants games and their fans.

Back when Willie McCovey was finishing off his career with the Padres, my dad and I were at a game and he hit a foul ball that went up into the brown loge section at the Murph that hit this lady in the head and knocked her out cold. Took her out on a stretcher and never found out what happened after that.
