I deep fry mine, but yes if you bake.

I take a couple of shelves out of the garage fridge and soak the turkey in a 5 gallon bucket for about 12 hours.

You can't even tell the moisture difference between white and dark meat. Juicy EVERY time.
.
Hoping my brother is going to be smoking the turkey tomorrow but fear it’s just going to be baked.

Never have issue with dry turkey...never brine and always stuff. Start high and then turn heat down for slow cook.

So the people that fuck up their turkeys seem to be the one's that follow the directions on the package.

How difficult is it to tent aluminum foil over it until the last 30 minutes? WTF... 15 minutes per pound at 325 degrees farenheit

My girls are both coming home from out of state colleges and both have requested I make spegette and meatballs for the main meal with my peanut butter pie for desert. Since this means my wife has to do absolutely nothing this request has been granted by a majority vote with no veto power.

There is veto power, but the one who wields it is in the majority.

I brine the chicken :D Chicken > Turkey :D

I do like chicken more than turkey.

I'm just giving a pointer on how to keep turkey moist no matter if it's smoked, baked, deep fried, etc....

Brining is pretty well fool proof.

Nice. Why'd you stop? Too expensive?
Well my brother had a drinking problem and having cases of +10% alcohol always on hand probably wasn’t a good idea.
