First was an 86 Dodge 600 ES. Almost the same as pictured below. It was a fun car but it got passed down to my sister when I started taking my parent's Ford Explorer camping. Unfortunately the engine died not too long after that.

During HS. It was ugly but it got great gas mileage and i beat the shit out of it and it never left me stranded. I honestly kinda miss it.

Right after HS. Pretty sweet ride especially for an 18yo. It was less than a year old with about 8k miles on it when i got it. I kept it through college and a friend tore the transmission out of it (while getting a BJ on int 77) <-----thats a story that belongs on the water cooler or our OT page.

A sad sad history...

Inherited this POS from my Grandmother when she couldn't drive anymore. I drove this thing around DC like I was trying out to be a stunt driver for Ronin (best realistic car chase scene for my money) - '84 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera
800px-1985-88_Oldsmobile_Cutlass_Ciera.jpg

Then I inherited my Grandfather's 88 Royale (but I want to say it was like a '91... which was confusing as fuck). Driving style = same (actually got a reckless driving ticket for going 88 in the '88 which I always thought was cool)

Then I leeched the family wagon for a bit which was a '95 Ford Taurus Wagon -

And I'm still driving the first car I ever bought... the Arctic Cat... Black Beauty... Baqueeta - 2003 Mazda 6 -

She's about to be 100,000 miles young.

For as butt ugly as Oldsmobiles were, the engines (for the most part) were legit. Even the '88 had some giddyup. But both of them fell to pieces. By around 90K miles the roof was falling in, the electrical was all shorted or buggy (the clock would show 41:56 or some other impossible random number all the time), the seats were all fucked up (the passenger seat level to tilt the seat was busted, so whenever I would peel out the passenger would slam backwards and be vertical... good ab workout though).

All in all, not a terrible ride..

True that... the 4th gens (like my current and your daughter's) have one of the best engines ever built according to some publications. If you ever have any questions on what's wrong with it or how to fix something on it go to maxima.org.... they have many how-to write ups on how to do almost anything to it.

I think I went the fastest in my life in a friend of mine's 88 z28. He had a 350 put in and it would flat out fly. Still don't know how fast it was going because it maxed out the speedometer, but it damn sho scared the shit out of me. lol

'91 Ford Explorer with no tint, bench front seat and swathed in the finest blood red cloth interior; at least it was four wheel drive and had one occasionally functioning speaker :L

My friend had a 95 or maybe it was a '93 not sure :noidea: anyway it had the 350 with a k&n intake, borla exhaust, and a cpu work, the fast/quickest car i've ever been in and it basically looked and pretty much was stock. Top end was way over 140, i know because thats when i'd start bitching to slow down and it was still pulling hard then. Honestly way too much speed for me, i used to drive pretty crazy myself (kinda had a reputation for it with people that knew me) but i was always more into pushing it on curvy roads than flat line speed. Now that im older i drive the SL or 5 under everywhere but the interstate and then really only push it to 10 or 15 over at the most.

Holy shit there are some bad cars in this thread :happyshake:

I like the Bang bus, H2's granny wagon, and the convertible Dodge at the top.

No business being run, but I banged a few at the van's expense. The van I drove had a couch in the back that folded down to make a bed. There were red runway lights that streamed the interior and there was a boomerang TV antenna on the roof. It had blinds on the windows when you needed a private moment.

....so you mean every badass feature you would want in a van like that.
