Must disparaging or most heart wrenching? Most disparaging would probably be the loss at home to Ohio state in 2016. That fucking sucked.

I've only attended one game in 40 years that Nebraska lost. I think it was iowa, a couple of years ago in Lincoln.
I was in San Antonio for the Texas game in 99(?).

Also, I had tickets to an Iowa state game up in Ames in the mid 90's, but my car broke down on the way. Nebraska lost that one.

Haven't really attended many bad losses but at the tail end of our honeymoon in 2012 (wife's idea) we went to Philly for the first time to watch a couple Phillies Mets games. This was still in the time when the Phillies were thought of as an elite team. Both games felt like wins almost the entire game only to end up being losses. It was frustrating. I had several cheesesteaks while I was there.

Went to jerryworld I’m 2011 and watched watched my aggies lose a huge 3rd quarter lead to pig. That set the tone for the rest of the season.

I went to every game in jerryworld and we lost each time. My friends have named me the jinx and I haven’t been allowed back. Since then, the aggies have won every game there so I don’t mind being ostracized too much

Dirty lil unknown secret about WVU football, yes some couches get burned after a good win most folks know that but what you DON’T know is that the streets get flooded with moonshine after a heart wrenching loss , SO, remembering anything about something like that is not really a thing..

Glad I missed that game.lol. I would have thrown up.

Yeah, I just about did. I took my stepdaughter with me. It was the first USC game she ever attended in person.

The entire game was wtf? Then when USC got the lead, we figured ok...games over.

Then they hit on that pass that 99 times out of 100 is likely incomplete....:L

I was at that one too. Riverwalk and a Husker CCG W made for a fun weekend.

2003, Huskers are ranked top 20 late in the season. Unranked K-State comes into Lincoln and blows our doors off 38-9. Worst part, I was in the K-State section wearing red. K-State fans made sure to prove what giant assholes they were/are.

Well...

I have seen bad losses...heartbreakers...moral wins (that were
still losses)...losses to underdogs...but the worst game I ever
sat thru was in 1972 vs Florida in Tally.

I don't even like talking about it. Briefly we were double digit favorites. We outgained them by 150 yards. Out first downed
them by 10...and turned the fucking football over 10 fucking times.

Here's the story...

North Texas Mean Green @ Tennessee, Oct. 25, 1975.

Missing 16 first & second string players, including their kicker, North Texas (then coached by Hayden Fry) comes to Neyland to play the Volunteers (then coached by Bill Battle). The Vols are pitiably lethargic and hapless throughout the game.

The infamous North Texas hand-off - deep in Vols territory, UT's QB, Gary Roach fakes to his right, then turns to his left with the ball in his outstretch hands, only to have a blitzing DE, Jimmy Burkholder take it from his hands. Though Burkholder was stopped at the Vols 8-yrd line, North Texas would score a TD to tie the game at 7. On the subsequent kick-off, Tennessee's return man would fumble. North Texas recovered and would score again, for a 14-7 lead.

Later, the Vols manage a tying TD. North Texas would score on a 98-year run back of the ensuing kick-off for a 21-14 lead. Ineptitude ensues. With less than 2 minutes left in the game, the Vols finally mount a sustained drive. On the final play, with no time outs and Tennessee receivers open in the end zone, the Vols QB tosses the ball out of bounds to stop the clock after time had expired... :L

I was there to witness the shame.

You said "is", meaning currently. OSU is 3-0 in recent match ups. So I guess your assumption on what you think OSU's record should be is correct.

FTR, I've been to 4 ND games. They are 1-4 in those games.
I’ve been to like 20 and the last time they won was 93 when they beat FSU
