Clearly and without debate the NL Central is the best division and Clearly the NL East is by far the worst but the other 4 divisions can all make a legit claim to being the 2nd best division. Who ya got as the 2nd best?? Records say its the AL East right now but give me an argument for any of the 4 options

If you go strictly by record the AL East is the 2nd best.

Yep, by just a bit over the AL Central. However the Central for sure has the best team in either division.

Right now they do but the Yanks are only 3 games behind them for the best record in the east. It looked like the Angels were about to take off but they went into a slump.

I'd nominate the AL East for the worst division.

Of course you would but the record (8 games over 500 playing outside the division) states otherwise

Why 'of course'? :noidea: Past the Yankees (who aren't title contenders) you have zip, zilch, nada.

Besides two playoff teams at the moment, sure.

And I hope that's true! But I don't see Price being enough to turn you guys into a playoff series-winning team. Do you?

Seeing as how Price has never won a playoff game, no, probably not.

However, I could see the offence getting them a series win.

Of course because your Yankee hatred clouds your vision on occasion. If you look at it objectively every division plays 500 against their own division. One team wins and one team loses. If you are arguing the best division would that mean the best record against other divisions?

And the Yanks are contenders in this watered down version of baseball provided they don't have more injuries especially to the pitching staff.

Now that the Jays have made their trades we'll need to see if they step it up. If the playoffs started today they'd have one of the wild cards.

Losing Wilson is a killer.

Yeah but their offense also went into the tank. I have them in a 13 run pool and all I need is a 9 for 2 weeks now. The pool is up to $900 and these fucks can't have a game they score 9 in!?
