Ryan said on Monday on a conference call that New England had provided him “more lowlights” in his career than the highlights he was expecting. He is 4-8 against New England entering Sunday’s game at MetLife Stadium. But forgoing trash talk, he heaped praise on Belichick, calling him a “first-ballot Hall of Famer when he gets there.”

Rex is gonna need a job in a few weeks. He needs to play nice so any future employer (not the Patriots) won't get turned off by his bluster.

If the memories of some of these GMs and owners wasn't as short as I think they are, Rex would have never gotten the Jets gig.

I wouldn't mind one bit if Rex became the D coach for the Pats. Rex is a hell of a D coach. He would help this D and Brady.

Actually it isn't. The GM actually wrecked Rex this year, left him with no corners worth a shit and drafted a QB no one wanted and insisted he play. 12 draft picks this year and 2 are on the team and not doing all that well. Tons of great WR's in last years draft and the GM cut all 4 he drafted and paid for Decker when there was so many good choices in the draft. Yet Rex never through him under the bus. Rex has actually handled things pretty well.

I see him doing TV next year and the Jets firing the GM too

I doubt bill will give Matt Patricia the "pink-$lip"........to grab Rex,.......some other 2-win/team will be crazy enough to make him a head coach offer.

Looks like SF will need a HC. Harbaugh was offered $48-49M by Michigan....

to his credit, but probably mostly due to his apparent upcoming fate, Rex has been pretty low key. The GM knows about as much about football as Jerry Jones does when it comes to drafting. Jerry finally has someone that knows what they are doing now to evaluate talent.
