I'm guessing this is a PR move to get lazy-ass Angelenos off their sun-burnt duffs and back into the stadium. Gotta create some buzz for the team
The fans will flock to the stadium until the team starts losing games. Then they'll go back to their other activities.

Probably saving the announcement.

Walterfootball says the Rams have been high on Wentz for months so its 99% him.
There is a reason this organization sucks.

Its fun to talk about, but there is zero way to judge this trade until we see what kind of QB Wentz or Goff turns into

Worth every single penny they surrendered if their guy turns into a franchise QB

Fucking idiot front office. Just when you can't get any dumber.. You pull this shit.

They were building a good young team and now gave up the farm for a QB in a down year for QBs.

Rams could have gotten Connor Cook in the 2nd round, who's just as good as these 2 over hyped QBs.

Desperation mode for that front office & HC. If Wentz pans out, they still have jobs when the stadium opens. If he doesn't, they will all be out of jobs like they likely were going to be anyways.

Rams fans are the ones who will suffer if Wentz just turns out to be an average starting QB.

No HC or GM on the hotseat ever wants to hitch their wagon to a rookie QB.

I don't think Fisher gives a flip either way...he's pocketed a LOT of cash. He knows his teams have been average to mediocre in STL and most teams would have fired him by now. What ever happens...happens.

This was a wipe the QB slate clean move, we might suck, but we have our QB of the future...come out and watch us play.

Jeff Fisher is the most overrated coach in the NFL.

Just clueless. Dammit!!! WTF is wrong with these idiots? Do they not watch college football?

Didn't the Rams release a bunch of starters this offseason too. Seems like alot to replace with a few draft picks.

LMAO at the Browns... Just one spot behind and they likely lose out on the QB they want because of this.

I'd say they are thinking "Let's make a splash to get our fans excited for our move to LA"

But "fuck our roster for the next 5 years" also fits.

In draft terms, a future 1st next year is worth a 2nd rounder this year. So putting a 4 year pricetag on the RG3 trade isn't a good thing to brag about. But lets look at that rg3 trade now:

Greg Robinson: worst LT in football last year
Alec Ogletree: Starter, was injured last year
Michael Brockers: Starter
Janoris Jenkins: not on the team anymore
Stedman Bailey: not on the team anymore
Isaiah Pead: not on the team anymore
Rok Watkins: not on the team anymore
Zac Stacey: not on the team anymore

Three good players and that is it. A complete fail on offensive talent evaluation.

Tennessee's front office should be tarred and feathered if they can't put together a decent team at this point. They already have their quarterback and now they just need to solidify their depth at other positions.
