No Commissioner of a sports league cares what the fans think. They care what the owners think. If the owners are still making bank, then the commish is doing his job, period.

Being a supreme shit and doing his job are not mutually exclusive things......

The Rog is multi-tasking.....

I'm sure he's tossing and turning at night.

Fuck you.

Defend him all you want saying he's just "doing his job", but it doesn't change that the fans will get their way on him if the owners start to feel it in the wallet.

I regret the "fuck you" Money. But I can't delete it now and in my defense, you were pretty condescending.

The only way the NFL and Goodell will EVER listen to the fans will be to hit them in their pocketbook.

How the hell the sponsors of the NFL haven't begun feeling the heat from people tired of the crap. Guy beats his wife but is on a good friends team...1 game and sweep it under the rug. Oh that guy shot the football like a basketball? We can't have that crap in our game!

People need to start tweeting, petitioning, writing, calling the sponsors of the NFL and bitching that we won't buy their products if they keep funding Goodell. You hit these owners in the pocketbook, their tune will change QUICKLY.

Lawsuit: ‘The NFL has illegally and unethically substituted pain medications for proper health care.’

With all the money us SportsHoop.la posters are earning why should we care what a broke-dick like Goodell thinks?

"Goodell, who is in London for Sunday's Giants-Rams game at Twickenham Stadium, even seemed to blame fans for the outrage over Josh Brown's weak one-game ban."

Roger Goodell suggests fans simply don’t understand the issues

The one move so far of the 3 that I would say was the NFL giving an up yours was the St. Louis move to LA. Denver fans are very familiar with Stan Kroenke and his shady business practices so that one doesn't surprise me much.

The other 2 though of the Chargers and Raiders have been things the NFL has worked hard to try and keep those franchises in place. The issue came down to stadiums that were falling apart and difficulty finding the money and fan support to try and keep those franchises in place. Those truly might have been the 2 worst stadiums in the entire NFL. There are pictures all over especially of the Raiders' stadium literally falling apart. Heck players have complained for years that the grass (or lack there of) was getting dangerous for them to play on. So you have a brand new stadium being built in LA with one of the largest populations in the country offering pretty much a free spot at the table to the Chargers and LV having investors lined up to cover a big chunk of the stadium costs it just was making too much sense.

Also just a quick side note. As much as I respect the Raider Nation fans they also had lost a lot of support in Oakland over the last 15 years. Before all the black out rules changed they were struggling to even come close to selling out their stadium. Even this past year they still had to block off over 10,000 seats in the stadium to be able to consider it "sold out". The running joke in San Diego is that when the Broncos come to town and plenty of other teams that they have home field advantage in San Diego. So the fan support for those 2 teams had bottomed out over the last 15 or so years. Not saying the move will help with that as not sure the Chargers will get a ton of support in LA, but we already know the fan support wasn't there where they were.

Report: Goodell still upset Patriots DC wore shirt mocking him after SB

"
Though some might view Patricia's choice of attire as a playful jab, Goodell apparently feels differently.

The commissioner remains upset about the shirt today, a league source told Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio. That could lead to some awkward moments when Goodell attends the Patriots' season opener.

Florio also speculates that it could lead teams to shy away from hiring Patricia as head coach, out of fear of what could happen from employing someone on Goodell's bad side."

Those shirts will be popping up more often if Goodell is crying about them.
