Now Jennings isn't ready, and I can grab Andre Williams but I think Hillman n ball split

Can't you choose between Hillman, Morris and McKinnon for this week? If Jennings is ready for next week, you have Hillman and Jennings to start...to cover all the bases for bye, maybe drop Ball for Williams while you can? Maybe a gamble, but...I would play the odds on Ball being the lesser factor overall.

I'd drop Ball just on principle alone for letting me down so bad. Luckily I traded him for Emannual Sanders.

I'm not so sure that happens. Ball did nothing with his chance. Hillman has done well and protected Peyton. I still think back to the week Ball got hurt and was arguing with Manning - that may have more to do with how Denver proceed than anything. ..... don't argue with the General !!!

Hillman and Peyton were caught in camera doing the exact same thing last week when Hillman wasn't where Peyton thought he should be on a swing pass. Peyton then mirrored to the sidelines and Hillman sat out the remainder of that series. I don't read anything into either situation. And at least ball remained in the game (for about 3 plays because that's right about when the injury occurred, but still).

And I still don't think saying Ball did nothing and Hillman has done so much more is a fair statement. Ball's opportunities came in an entirely different offense than what Hillman had had. Hillman saw the field after Denver abandoned the 2 TE offense and returned to the 3 wide set that they used last year. Thus Hillman is getting what Moreno got last year with the defense spread out across the field, whereas Ball was getting a defense stacked around the ball most of the time. I just don't think it's a comparable situation.

However, I do agree that it's no lock Ball gets a chance to win a backfield competition. He deserves it, but that doesn't mean much. But, Hillman can very easily screw himself out of it, and I believe that's Ball's best chance, and why I wouldn't want to drop him.

yup.
I was looking over reasons why Hillman has been able to find so much success in the DEN rushing attack compared to what Ball was getting pre-injury. Broncos OL just isn't good enough to create the same holes with 2 TEs in the game compared to spreading it out like they have been the past couple weeks.

Not that I can do anything about it in my work league (only $$ league I was able to get Ball in) since my draft went something along the lines of Lacy, Ball, VJax, Roddy, Mathews, Gerhart.......puke city

somehow I still have 2 wins in that league, and ZERO in MBBRL....DAMN YOU GUYS!!!
