Golf Apps, what do you think?

What do you guys think about golf apps to play golf on your phone? There is a really good one IMO, to pass time and make you feel like you can actually play

I have like 14 holes in one, 800 birdies, 140 eagles, and 1 albatross this year! Oooh yeah!
Really though, this is a really fun app, very realistic, with wind factors and all that good stuff; for people who play and don’t play real golf.

I can, the same APP Kim Jumg Unh plays. You know, the one where he had 17 hole in ones and shot the caddie for not having 18 on the card.

I guess there are some good apps but I don't play on them. I used a GPS app once and an app that kept stats but don't anymore.

It is realistic golf App, because as you get better you advance from rookie 3-levels, pro 3-levels, then expert and masters. Cool stuff. I play in pro level 3 and my longest drive is 400 yards. In the expert and above levels, they drive for 450+

Edit: actually, longest for me is 400, average about 340

Hahaha. Cool man! It has gotten better. There is a really fun one out there, Golf Clash. It is addicting, even if you play golf. I do, am 16 HC … this game makes me feel like a pro

Exactly. My longest is probably 270 carry. Once on a down slope almost reached the green on a 370 par 4, great bounce of the ball off a titled fairway. Caddie and I were looking for the ball near the bounce, and it was way down in a drainage grill right off the green, 20 feet from the hole.

That's a strange place. You think to yourself ( out of all the areas on this hole, I had to find this spot right? ) Been there. Last week I had a ball drop down into a fox hole when coming out of a bunker. I've hit a deer broadside, killed a goose, and even had one at one-time land in a gutter on someone's house. It's golf and when the days over ya get a great story and some laughs

That is awesome man! I once accidentally hit a dove sitting in a tree. 3-wood, nailed it but hooked a little into some trees. When we got there, there was a dead, bleeding bird, the ball hit the poor bird in the head, there was some blood on the ball. It was shocking, will never forget that scene.

Ya the goose I won't forget either. It's the sound, oooo, Hit it in the head, dead instantly off the tee box. Poor little goosys running around trying to figure out what happened to mommy, I felt bad even though I hate geese

Golf is great, it’s about the game, bringing your A-Swing. I play very little these days, maybe 4-6 times per year. Used to play every weekend. Would like to go back to that soon.

I have the pleasure to play each weekend and sometimes during the week. I enjoy it, relaxing, and afterward the comradery. I maintain an 8 but some days feel like I played better and some worse, it's ok. I won't get tired of it.

That’s exactly it my friend. Some of my friends play Sunday very early to get back home with the family before noontime.
More daring friends will go on Saturday, pretending it’s a Sunday, only to get chewed out by the wife. Unless she plays golf or tennis, or whatever, at the same times.

Golf Shot is a good ap. It’s pretty accurate with yardages. I’ve been able to load every course I’ve been to since I downloaded it 3 years ago. Even the goat pastures near my house.
