double minor!!

Thanks to getting hit in the face by his own player earlier. He was still bleeding.

From what I seen, not a very good performance by the Blues, looked out of position and couldn't pass worth a shit. 1-1 heading to Cali.

Did the Bluez even get a shot from inside the slot all game? Near perfect road game by the Sharks.

Jumbo's quickly becoming one of my favourite players.

I gotta say, I am really hoping Big Mama gets his cup finally. It's pretty hard to dislike the guy.

If Big Mama is No-show-Joe Thornton (?). I don't like the guy, I think he's been a lazy hack most of his carrier, but that just my opinion, seen him hack a whack on Wings players too much to have any respect for him. I have to say this though, I'm not seeing the usual lazy hacking this playoff season from him. But that's just my opinion of the guy.

Did just hear that right, proclaiming Jumbo as the greatest passer of all time?

Really?

I don't think so.

Once again, I must say it. If you want your kid to be a clutch goalie, name him Martin.

Dang, dude. Well done.

My wife and I actually argued about this. At the time my son was born, there were five goalies in the NHL named Martin. I was overruled all on account of her stupid ex-boyfriend's middle name.

Off the top of my head:

Martin Brodeur
Martin Biron
Martin Brochu

Who are the other two?

/I share the same first name and initials as the above three :D

Gerber and Prusek

And you should have been a goalie.

Geez, I'm kicking myself for forgetting Darth Gerber. Prusek I wouldn't have gotten in a million years.

/I did play goalie a few times in soccer as a kid

I'm impressed you got Brochu. He couldn't have played more than 20 games total.

I'm really confused. I'm not used to the Sharks playing well this late in the year. I'm really excited but I'm extremely wary that they'll pull the carpet out from under my feet if I get too excited.

And the passer comment is normal bad commentator hyperbole. Great passer, one of the best of his generation but no where near the best ever. I liked his post game comments "I know I'm a great player" between this and spraying the kids with water and dancing in St Louis, the guy is having a blast during this run.

That 42 foot saucer pass from Jumbo Jim was pretty sweet last night though.

Every Shark fan should know that it's not over until the equipment guys are done shaking hands.

I'm sure a lot of Blues fans feel the same way.

Hopefully the whole team is feeding off the same vibe.

It's like a star wars movie, no matter how good the trailer looks, there's still Jar Jar and the awful set of romance scenes with Hayden Christianson and Natalie Portman in the back of my head.

The similarities between the two series are...weird. Like, very weird. Game one, maybe the team with better play loses. Games two and three pretty dominate wins/performances. Game four, team down 4-0 early, losing team comes out en fuego for the third. We'll see just how similar they are soon, hah.
