Not sure this couldn't've gone better. The biggest reason is that Bevell really attacked Ryan's defense and really exploited it. It was the best game he called all season. And, if they thought the last game was loud, just wait until they have to come and suffer another earthquake.

ONE for sure positive, is we know TONIGHT who we are playing. Green Bay/San Fran is tomorrow later. So at least our guys can get started and prep tomorrow morning and get a mindset tonight on it. Gives them one extra day.

Saints D is not playing well right now… Niners would be are other potential match-up and there D is solid so let them face Carolina and beat the crap outta each other if they should survive the cold tomorrow… Packers don't have much of a defense either so I'm pretty confident the Niners should have some success tomorrow… Unless like I said the cold grounds them…

This is the best possible match-up. Rodgers is a huge wild card and SF would be like playing the 2 seed. Foles was breaking contain tonight and their pass protection doesn't look good at all. They also had huge problems with the noise the first time and the game is going to be even louder. If we don't win this game then we would have lost to anyone.

SF would have been the worst scenario. I'm not afraid of them but if they're a top 5 team in the entire NFL at this point. Not the type of team you want to meet in your opener.

This was the exact match up that I wanted. Not that I'm underestimating the Saints in any way but watch tonight's game and you see Drew Brees just had a very average game against an average at best Eagles defense.

I will say this though...I don't think we will hold Drew Brees to 150 some yards passing like we did in the monday night match up. Saints will definitely adjust. I think they will put up 13-20 points.

Our key to winning will be how Russell and the offense does. Saints defense looked good at times today, but also showed some weaknesses that Bevell can exploit. It'll be interesting to see how Rob Ryan adjusts to what the Seahawks brought the first time and how the Seahawks will adjust...or if they will adjust at all.

I don't know what's more impressive...Bennett's return for the td or Jeremy Lane's block on #17 driving him from the 20 all the way into the end zone!

Oh and btw we have Thurmond for this game too. Saints want to spread em out...LOB will lock em down.

My only minor concern is no KJ Wright. He did such an excellent job on Jimmy Graham. Malcolm Smith has been stepping it up big time in recent weeks, here's his stage to shine once again.

Also can we get a sack from Bruce Irvin already. He is DUE for a two sack game!

Its tough to blow out a team twice in one year and Drew Brees is still Drew Brees. However their defense got a little banged up tonight while we had the week off to get healthier. Got bring our A game but I think we will be ready.

One concern that I have is that KJ Wright is on IR and won't be available for the game. Will our LBs be able to cover Sproles and Jimmy Graham as well with Malcom Smith replacing KJ Wright?
