I'm pretty astounded that Cinci didn't stop that. There couldn't have been a doubt in anyones mind that Thomas was going to take it up the middle.

This is the worst offensive play I have seen out of a VT offense in quite some time....and we've had some sorry performances in recent years.

The playcalling and LT are both pathetic. The best play call was probably the screen pass to JC and the two offensive linemen both fell down trying to block a single Cincy player. Did we give up on throwing some short passes over the middle to Dunn or Mallek?

Key to the 2nd half offense...outside runs and by outside I mean outside the tackles. Get a run game going and take some pressure off LT

C. Fuller is getting open but I don't like his hands, that's what I see holding him back in terms of going to the NFL. I feel like if there is any contact he doesn't hold on to the ball.

The defense has been on the field for ages, they have been playing great IMO, they just can't hold them forever.

The good thing is that if the season is going to be as bad as I think it is even Beamer will makes changes. If he doesn't then I'm picking a new team to follow. I'll still watch VT but only about half as much. I mean I can only take so much of Newsome/Stinespring and the damage they do to the team
