Someone on Twitter suggested the Tide might slip from #1 after this game.Well, if Bama isn't getting in (according to 1) with a close win, gonna be harder with a loss
Marshall is doing something right apparently. I think they have like 10 transfers from bigger schools like FSU.Watching some of this makes me wonder how much of a good thing the transfer portal is really. Lots of talent, not much coordination with that talent on some teams.

To who? UGA & tOSU played a couple of high school teams.
Heh, I thought it was because App St had taken the lead on A&MProps to Marshall.
Don't know why ive been calling them Appy. Senior moment or something
Voters are not required to vote Bama #1 just because they escaped with a win against a non-ranked team. Many of the voters who voted for Bama to be #1 last week, will consider that both Georgia and OSU have looked more dominant, Michigan could as well if they trounce today as they are predicted to.Someone on Twitter suggested the Tide might slip from #1 after this game.

To be honest, who really gives a shit at this point in time? Week 2. True conference game season hasn't started, and 2+ months to go.Voters are not required to vote Bama #1 just because they escaped with a win against a non-ranked team. It always has, and always will, sort itself out.

Ha. Even worse, the first CFP poll in a month will be clueless as phuck as well. It's like Pre-season polls. Just a freaking guess until everyone gets a couple games under their belt.
when teams in the same conference get overrated, what happens is that then the teams in the same conference that beat those overrated teams end up getting more credit than they deserve for pulling off the upset. On the other side of the coin, when a team is underrated, a team doesn't get enough credit for beating them. Then all that is left is for a couple bowl games to try to sort things out?To be honest, who really gives a shit at this point in time? Week 2.
