After that disaster of shitting-the-bed game that we laid at SoFi Stadium last week, we win the NFC West and face the Arizona Cardinals in Round 1 of the Playoffs, Monday Night. It is difficult to hope for much from the Rams in this one as the Cardinals are 8-1 on the road this year and the Rams are, well the Rams. They could win this one or they could go fragile, shit-fer-brains mode on us and shit-the-bed again. I guess it will be a wait-and-see approach as I am not sure, even at home, this team wants or cares about moving through the playoffs. We shall see I suppose.

This is the time of year that players become stars in the NFL. The Rams need some backup players to shine this Monday. LETS Do It Rams!

Here are two more guys who have been beaten badly just about all year especially with the good teams in the league. Williams they should let walk in FA and Rapp they should trade for draft collateral and a big new Center, Guard, or Tackle!

In fact, we should go with Burgess and Rochele (when he gets back from IR). The former this week against the Cards. The latter next year.

I'm worried about this game... The Cardinals won 37-20 in Sofi already against the Rams. They seem to play the Rams better on the road. I have a feeling McEgo and Stafford are going to lose this game. We can't afford a single Stafford interception in this game, and he leads the league in interceptions this season, that is not good at all. To win this game, McEgo needs to establish the run game and stick with it and Stafford needs to read the field and make smart decisions. The Cardinals are going to stack the line and will make it hard to read if they are rushing or dropping into coverage. Stafford will need to be smart and make quick decisions are not force the ball. The Oline needs to protect.

Let's see what happens.

Well if history has any indicators, the Cardinals will trot out their version of the 46 defense like they did in the first win over the Rams earlier in the season. WE will then see if McVego has learned anything and counters it with the Jumbo which he is now using on a semi-regular basis. If he goes full retard and tries to pass, we will be done.

That is for sure.

Also, the Rams secondary is a disaster right now, so I see the Cards moving up and down the field easily on Monday. The D-line hasn’t don’t a ton recently to really impact a game since the last time they played the Cards ( when Donald and Co had a field day ).

They will need a similar performance to have a chance.

T. Rapp ain't playing on Monday. He failed to clear Concussion protocol. AD has not practiced on Thursday or Friday. Van Jefferson has a bad shoulder. EW will probably play more than expected. Floyd was held out of practice on Thursday and Friday as well.

Rams are pretty banged up.

That’s not good. It was already going to be a tough game. The injuries to key players makes it harder.

The loss of Fuller really hurts.

And how much we could really use Woods in the playoffs. OBJ is good, but he can’t do the things Woods does, especially in the run game.
