Here is what I want to happen:

1. Seattle
2. Carolina
3. Philly
4. Detroit
5. S.F.
6. N.O.

Week 16
Ari @Sea
N.O. @ Car
Chi @ Phi
NYG @ Det
Atl @ S.F.

Week 17
Stl @ Sea
Car @ Atl
Phi @ Dal
Det @ Min
S.F. @ Ari
T.B. @ N.O.

WC Weekend
N.O. @ Phi
S.F. @ Det

Div Weekend
S.F. @ Car
N.O. @ Sea

NFC Championship
Car @ Sea

It is possible and I want Detroit in there because they have a tough defense and some big playmakers as long as they don't penalize themselves to death. Tough matchups for S.F. @ Det. and @ Car. Warm up game against the Saints for the Hawks and then the big defensive showdown against either Car or S.F. Prefer Car since they have to travel further and their offense is not quite as explosive as S.F. can be.

The way New Orleans have played on the road as of late, they're gonna have a hard time getting out of WC weekend with a win no matter where they play with the 6th seed. If anything, they really really need that #2.

I realize they are bad on the road, but Philly's pass Defense is horrible, so I thought they might be able to squeak out a win.

It's not just about being bad on the road for these guys.
A dome team going into Philly in this type of weather isn't going to help Brees all that much IMO. Not to mention I believe Nick Foles and the Eagles are capable of out-shooting Brees.

Yes, I guess if you flopped N.O. and Car, then you have a better chance of the WCs winning, but then the Hawks would face Car and S.F. most likely. A tougher couple games. Doable, but tougher.

I'm definitely in for rooting for Car to get the #2 seed because it'll probably make our lives a lot easier.

but as you said, if the Aints can't pull off the win in the WC round, then we face the Niners in the divisional and the Panthers in the NFCC.

Of course true miracles can happen and the Panthers and Niners lose in the WC round.

Either way, under the current scenario you have, let's hope NO wins, then we have SF and CAR eliminating each other in divisional.:omg:

I truly believe CAR and SF are the two teams that are capable of beating the Hawks at CLink in the playoffs.

CAR secures BYE today, let's hope this scenario continues to play out.

I am ok with GB being in there. SF has to go to the tundra to play Aaron Rodgers. Rooting for the Cowboys now so N.O. at least has a dome to play in on the road.

I'm going to have an aneurysm if the Packers win!! Sorry if that offends anyone, I do not respect their coaching staff or most of their fans.

Gonna be a big Saints fan next weekend. I'd love to have them come back to Seattle and have either GB or SF have to go to Carolina. I would have liked to see the Saints have a game against the Cowboys (LOL) but they'll just have to beat the Eagles.

Don't really care who wins to be honest, though I expect that the Eagles and 49ers will advance.

Big Saints fan now. Hoping Graham tears them up like Witten did, and Brees and company can get it done. Saints Defense is definitely better than Dallas, so I hope they can somehow pull off a road win in Philly. Projected 27 degrees with no precipitation and very little wind at this point.

If they lose then I hope Discount Double Check can rally the troops and give the Niners some payback for the Week 1 schellacking they took in the Stick.

I see both road teams (NO, SF) advancing in wild card week. SF seems to match up really well with GB and this GB isnt as good as last years or even the one in week 1. Despite NO not playing nearly as well on the road, Ill give Brees and Payton the nod over Foles/Kelly. I think experience plays out there. That would leave us facing the Saints.

All I remember is last year the 9er fans calling us pussys for bringing up the fact because we were the wildcard and had to travel east back to back to play early playoff games.

Now they get a taste of that. Enjoy it. Hope they do have to go play in Carolina first, then us, if they make it that far. I've already heard their bitching start at their playoff schedule. Sweet music.

Nobody wants to go to the frozen tundra in Jan. So glad the Giners get that right out of the gate.

I think they could use a "We want the ball and we're gonna score" moment
