The defense is garbage just like the offense has been most of the season.

Morris and his bend don’t break defensive scheme is not a good system.

The only time the Rams had a legit D was when Staley played man defense and that caused a lot of turnovers.

Morris's defensive scheme has been synthesized by the offensive coordinators of the league. There is an old myth in the NFL: If you win a Snooperbowl with a given system, it must be tried and true. The present-day NFL is MoneyBall related: Adapt or die. If McShit-fer-Brains and now bonehead Morris believe in the first myth instead of the second, we will indeed see more seasons like this.

Like it or not, the Rams are in rebuild mode. The old is done and the new must come. Get rid of the big contracts through trade or retirements and re-think the approach to the draft and start making concise and wise FA signings. The Rams have lost a lot of talent and they need to get fresh new legs on both sides of the ball.

If McShitferBrains thinks he can continue to do things the same way that got him a Snooperbowl win, he has lost his mind.

The bend but don’t break defense has cost the Rams 2 wins this season ( TB and SEA ), and has been flat awful in most other games the Rams had no chance to win.

Today proved 2 things for sure: Morris and his defensive scheme has to go, and Wolford is the clear #2. If Perkins was playing today, the Rams have no chance to win.
