No thoughts on Weber St, but a possible second round game with Oklahoma State is a bitch. That team was a top-10 team this year and they fell to a 9 seed. Pretty much the strongest 9 seed I've ever seen.

Smart hasn't played a defense like ours. My guess is he tries too hard to assert himself as a scorer and forgets about distributing the ball. He gets locked down and Arizona should win. The crowd should easily be 75-80% Arizona fans.

asu is a 10 seed the midwest... that makes 6. Will Cal sneak in?

If there are teams seeded from 11-16 who are better than Cal that get an at large I will be surprised. Sure, the Bears struggled down the stretch, but with all 6 of the Pac12 teams so far getting 10 seeds or higher, that bodes well for them.

I have never rooted for Kentucky in my life... but I hope that they meet up with Witchita State in the second round and knock them out. Kind of getting sick of the WSU bandwagoners who have come out of nowhere the last 12 months.

If I was a Florida fan I almost would have rather had them lose today. Better to get the loss out of the way when it doesn't matter. Now they enter the tournament on a 26 game streak or something like that. Lots of pressure on the Gators.

maybe, but I don't see it that way at all. Sure, if a team is undefeated, like WSU? The pressure starts to build as you move through the tournament because the media attention is going to be crazy seeing as how no team has gone undefeated in 40 years.

But for a team on a long winning streak, like FLA that has already lost a few games, IMO the tournament is just another string of games. The streak means nothing, they are not playing for history.

They are supposed to make an effort to spread teams from the same conference around the tournament.

It makes no sense to me to have 3 teams from the Pac12 in the South region, and to have zero Pac12 teams in the Eastern bracket. They should have made the 10 out East, or Colorado the 8.
