It's amazing that we cannot reel in our own stars, but it's going to happen again. Agau doesn't want to be "the guy who followed his friend as part of a package deal."

We rarely have good players coming out of this state, so the few times we do get one, they all want to go somewhere else........as if to prove that they are better than playing for a shitty team like Nebraska or somethin.

My money is on Agau ending up at Marquette......for the name mainly.

If and when Georgetown offers, they will be instant contenders

Both of these things are good news though:

*Sergej Vucetic, a 7-foot-1 center from Serbia, is taking a recruiting visit to Nebraska on Wednesday. Vucetic, who played at AIM Prep in Michigan, could fill one of three scholarship openings for the 2012-13 season. He's also receiving interest from Georgia Tech, Illinois, Marquette, Northwestern, Providence, Rhode Island and Vanderbilt.

*Miles said he won't have any announcements regarding his coaching staff until later this week at the earliest, and possibly not until next week. A name to monitor for the final opening, however, is Saint Louis assistant Chris Harriman, a native of Sydney, Australia.

The only guy who ever felt like he had to prove that is Matt Hill and he rode the pine at Texas.

Agau has nothing to prove. He's clearly too good for us. Fact.

Sergej Vucetic is "N". Confirmation from Robin Washut via Twitter. Quote from Twitter: "Vucetic is 7-1, 235, and 19 yrs old. Has 4 years of eligibility and is fully qualified academically. Averaged 19 ppg and 14 rpg last season"
