FYI we already have a military presence there, and last I checked the Island of Ice known as Greenland isnt for sale.

Not sure about natural resources. There must be some, though. I don't think there any significant extraction efforts going on.

We have a big missile radar up there. We used to base fighter planes way up north, but the threat as it exists now is missiles, not bombers.

One of the short documentary channels I subscribe to on Youtube just did an episode on this very question. Denmark owns it and they'd want a mind-boggling amount of money for it.

Well, the Dutch and the Danish are not the same thing.

The Dutch already have several ttle island spots for their people. Aruba and Curaçao.


The Danes aren't Dutch though.
