Well ... it "was" lookin to be a potential upset until Wash boned up the 4th & 10 play and the receiver didnt catch the ball ... replay overturned the call on the field.

LOL Purguy ... it would take a major miracle for our Irish to beat Stanford in Palo Alto this year ... that one was marked a loss in my casa way before the season even started.

I have said from the beginning of the year that I think Stanford is overrated. I expect us to win that game. (But I also expected wins against Michigan and Oklahoma)

Just watching them play this year. I haven't been that impressed. They have had good special teams play (which scares me greatly), but they don't look like a top 5 team to me. I certainly hope that they keep winning, and hope they can beat Oregon, but I think the press loves this team because of the way they combine athletics and academics (not unlike ND). We'll see at the end of the year, but right now, I can see Stanford losing three out of their last seven games this year. (Although I only expect them to lose 2)
