Did you hear Millen talk about last week's game? He was on the sideline and said there is no leadership from the players, and a lot of non listening to coaches. Felt like they were afraid to coach because of losing kids to the portal. There's no fire.

I'm still so freaking pissed it took that to win this thing. Cal and Stanfords Ds are complete jokes this year. It should never have to be wins that came down to the wire.
I was impressed with the defense tonight. They kept us in this. A W is a W and I'll take it. Especially since it was 2007 the last time we won at their house. Nice to see that streak broken. But still, this season is just so damn frustrating.

It's been a rough year for them. Good to hear they got something to celebrate. Defense definitely deserves that win. Husky front 7 was the most solid I've seen them this year. Solid work by the LBs tonight which was extremely refreshing to see.

The run blocking was much improved as well. Without that run game it would have been a bloodbath as Morris still can't be relied on downfield.
