WSU isn't really a flashy offense. They just never stop throwing.

They really don't have many running plays and most of them are QB draws. I doubt they could snap the ball with the QB under center no one would know how.

Anybody can run a QB sneak, and that is a play you should always have in your arsenal when its a half yard or less

Leach runs basically the same offense Briles runs. They learned it from Hal Mumme.


Need to add Sumlin in here too.


Leach at TT used good running backs as integral part of the offense, as Briles now does at Baylor. Guess he just doesn't have any yet at WSU.


When TT was in their prime, they had very good Olinemen, and they used huge splits, which are now more common all over CFB. That offense used to be pretty rare at bigtime CFB schools, but now parts of it are used all over.

I don't remember every play at Tech being a pass, they at least tried to run.
