Hell of a tribute before the game. Can't remember ever seeing anything like it. A true legend passing so close to when they left their sport, more or less one that meant as much to their home city. The crowd outside, big name singers in the tripute and anthem.

That was simply a horrible tragedy with the loss of life - I am 60 years old, and have never seen this reaction of shock and horror from people across the globe. Going back to 9-11 - Third world nations across the world celebrate the loss of 5000 people because of their hatred for America - Kobe was simply loved and honored by those same ones. Michael Jackson was considered a loss as was Elvis Presley, Martin Luther King and John F Kennedy - but I don't believe the reaction was of this magnitude - that by itself is a statement
