Nice, it would be nice to see if he can continue swinging in the majors...... as long as his defense does not pull the rest of the team down. From what I have heard he is much improved but those concerns along with our depth at 1b has kept him from coming sooner.

Hope he does well but unless he lights the league on fire I doubt he sees the playoffs.

when they give him a major league number says alot . davis was a risk at first . i was impressed with walkers play . the question is do they save 10 million at first and give it to cruz ? pearce will be getting a huge pay increase also . this team is deep dearaza where does he fit next year ?

He has a nice swing and is a decent fielder, but i still think he's a little undersized for a F/T 1B. He reminds me of Pearce a little, maybe splits time in the OF.

walker only plays first that i can remember the kid is only what 23 ? he had 26 homers so that is pretty dam good for a young kid at aa and aaa . pearce at one time was a highly regarded prospect .
