Luck is involved to a degree, but I'm not going to tell a 13-4 NFL team that all those wins were from luck.

It's also been said a team that wins a lot of close games is Championship caliber. The '86 Giants (17-2) for example. 9-2 in games decided by 7 points or less.

The '90 Giants (16-3) were 7-2.

Yes, he was a POS, so I guess it was fitting. I just read the wiki article on it, it's even worse than I thought....took seating from 91 to 58k and still have problems selling out...the new owners have some real work to do

It seems like with the Chargers that they're always down a key offensive player and defensive player and that gives them less margin for error than we would think. Joey Bosa has been banged up for 4 of the past 6 years. Mike Williams hasnt been able to stay healthy. Chargers draft a rookie WR and he drops a deep throw that might have been a Mike Williams TD in a different year. Chiefs played in week 1 against the Lions without Kelce or Chris Jones and lost a close. Yeah, having a franchise QB helps but you need your best players in there, too.
