Upset with his sack totals in 2017, Von Miller takes it out on a poor, defenseless hammerhead. PETA is crying foul.

Well at this point it would actually only be strike 1 for Von. He has stayed clean long enough off the field for the league to pretty much eliminate past infractions. So would probably be more of a slap on the wrist unless serious charges come against him.

If he was guilty (and that's still in question) it appears to be a class 2 misdemeanor. It was a guided trip, so I have a feeling there isn't much to worry about.

This is what I was thinking that if it was a guided tour I can't see them allowing Von Miller and company to break the rules and risk losing their ability to function as a business.

The press and notoriety they'd get for having Von Miller out there and the possibility of a big payday in the future offsets the possible fine they'd get for doing something like this. Unless they have a previous record, this is win/win for the business.
