I see a guaranteed 8 losses in there ... 10 losses is more likely but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. No way they end up in a bowl next season (which most think is the key to London staying around). I would be floored if they made a bowl next season.

I'm actually rooting for them to make it a bowl, convince themselves Mike London is turning it around, and then go on multiple 4 and 5 wins seasons. Gotta keep that guy around. His game management is great for us.

Richardson (6-foot-6, 295) had visited Charlottesville over the weekend and told reporters he was firm in his commitment to UVa after returning home, only to flip 24 hours later.

Well .... winning games means your team and in many cases your offense is doing something right. Drink the Kool-Aid Mr. Kamara. Coach dream may be gone before you even play in a game...

Yep, he told Oakes he was as solid as he had ever been to UVa, then less than 24 hours later, he flipped. I understand that he wants to be closer to home, but don't use that as your excuse when you have been committed to a school for 7 months and have made the trip on 3 different occasions, only to wait 2 weeks before signing day to decide it's too far away from home.

while this may be true to an extent, UVA has exactly 1 WR in the league, and he's been there for half a decade

Winning games certainly gains you more exposure, but he is somewhat right. Look at Thad Lewis for example. Duke won 10 games total while Lewis was there from 2006-2009. Now he is a serviceable backup for Buffalo. I know most stories don't turn out that well, but usually if you have the talent, you will make it to the league. It's all about making the most of the opportunity.

To put out there you don't care about winning games for your school is a bit of a turn off for me. It will be hard to get in the league as well when you are a WR and the offense can't execute. If his main point of college is to get to the league, I am sure other schools would be happy to take him that have been putting WRs into the NFL.

His game management is great for us, but his recruiting is wasting valuable players.

I agree, I wish he wouldn't have said this, but if that is his goal, then so be it.

Ultimately every player's goal is to get to the league. Most are competitive enough they hate to lose

Normally I would be beating my chest with pride, but I wasn't even trying to get banned. Today was my first time ever posting on there. I didn't curse at anyone, didn't call any posters out. It started out with a poster saying that Chris Long should be used to losing. So I proved to him that UVa won more games than they lost while Long was at UVa. Some poster then said I should never be able to post there, as he accused me of celebrating the deaths of hokies on 4/16. I said that while I do feel that Virginia Tech football benefited from the 4/16 massacre, I know that in a heartbeat y'all would do anything to go back in time and prevent that day from even happening. I guess I struck a nerve with someone, and that was all she wrote. I seriously wasn't trying to get banned. Now I have to log out every time I want to go lurk over there.

Not picking on Jeffro in here, but Oakes kinda set the wheels in motion for this when he banned all VIP VT posters from the Grounds...what a pud.

... personality on the the local sports radio show (a UVA fan) said the other day that he predicted that UVA would give CML his pink slip after the 4th or 5th game (@ 1-4) next year.
