I think they'll beat Duke for a change this year, losing Sean Renfree and Conner Vernon will be tough. I'm confident Maryland beats UVA, I like this Terps team. I know nothing about Pitt yet, intrigued to watch them tonight but I did pick FSU -10.5.

If the Hoos had lost that game Saturday... London's career was all but done. Would have just been purely a matter of finishing the season.

But with that win, as ugly as it may have been... There is a slight chance UVA could make a bowl game.
They will have to pull off an upset during the 2nd half of the season, or win out until week 8 (except for Oregon game obviously) but their schedule is going to be brutal 2nd half of th season.

If they were to fall to Pitt and/or Maryland, he loses that team completely.

Said he feels that if London doesn't make a bowl game this year, game against us very well could be his last. With TOB then very likely being next HC

Hell yeah, TOB. Keep making those ACC rounds

You have absolutely no clue as to what you are talking about. Just stop.

UVA had jet lag and weather helping out last Saturday.

I don't think that's going to help them out with Oregon.

How did the weather give UVa an advantage?

Haha, maybe you are right about Matty's scenario. But if UVA goes 0-5 down the stretch and VT runs them off the field in the last game..that could be the nail in the coffin for London. JMHO.

A two hour rain delay is a big equalizer.

BYU was mistake prone, and lost the game on one mistake late in the game in their own territory when the football squirted out of their own receiver's hands into one of the UVA players hands.

I'd say bad weather played a factor, pushing the game to whoever made the fewest mistakes.

BYU's coaching cost them the game. They should never have been passing in that situation anyway. They had the lead with less than 3 minutes left, with the clock running. They could have easily run another minute off the clock before punting.

I was at the Oregon UVA game, first time at Scott Stadium. Not gonna lie, Oregon fans outdid UVA fans in pretty much everything. Tailgating, chants during the game, and of course the game itself. Scott Stadium was so quiet compared to Lane. When UVA was on defense, my entire section didn't even bother to make any noise unless it was a 3rd down.

From Bitter's blog...
Virginia Tech’s crowd was still bigger than the 58,502 that showed up for Virginia’s game against No. 2 Oregon in Charlottesville, something Hokies running backs coach Shane Beamer couldn’t pass up, offering thanks to Tech fans and taking a dig at rival UVa on Twitter.
“It wasn’t a sellout but we still had the largest crowd in the state of VA today,” he tweeted. “By far.”

..And assuming EST, Nnadi's tweet was 10 minutes after kickoff.

Upset? Sure. Tell them this isn't a football field and stop throwing? No...

This would have never happened if they were catching the ball in a net that was on the end of a stick, like everyone else.
