Virginia Tech offers 2015 5* DT Tim Settle

Although Settle admits he doesn’t know too much about Virginia Tech, he has a very close tie to the Hokies program through his friend and mentor, Dwight Vick. “Dwight is telling me some stuff about Virginia Tech, like that it is a good school and that they have great coaching there, but his main focus is making sure guys like me have the opportunity to go to any school we want. Me and Dwight get a long great because he sees leadership in me. He is telling me what I need to do to finish a drill right. He doesn’t treat me unequal to everyone else. I see him almost every Sunday on our training day.”

Never hurts to for one of our own to have a good relationship with this stud.

Being ranked so high in Virginia means a lot and one in state school has been showing a lot of interest as of late. “I talked to Virginia Tech once but I have not heard from UVA at all. I talked to the coaches at Virginia Tech and they were talking a lot about my size and how good I looked and everything. They want me to come to camp.”

Sounds a little bit shunned to me? WTF is CML doin up there?

Up next, Sweat plans to head to Blacksburg to camp at Virginia Tech, followed by a possible visit to NC State before heading to Ohio for the VTO NFL Prep Camp.

Yeah ... per 247, the Oscar Smith boys were offered the other day, along with Clelin Ferrell, Dionte Austin (DB out of Towson, MD) today ... Apparently (again per 247), Calvert Hall College brought a ton of kids to camp today ... We're looking much better with Dematha, Good Counsel these days .. Moorehead is doing work up in DMV it seems.

Including Austin and Bailey, WVU now has 3 former players playing WR in the NFL. The other is some dude I'd never heard of who is on Pittsburgh's roster. By my count, VT has 6 WR's currently on an NFL roster.

Nope, just an undrafted rookie J.D Woods, who is a longshot to make the Steelers. But WVU does throw a lot.
