difference between Lloyd and Jackson is that Jackson would try to learn the playbook imo... But you are correct, it's sad how Lloyd couldn't do a freaking thing in New England.

No they need to try to find a lb or decent dlineman. At this point of the year, Brady will not look his way, as it takes him awhile to build trust, at least with some defensive help they could contribute right away.

I would say the issue with Jackson will be the Cap Hit. He is a great player that would add quite a bit to that offense but the Patriots would lose almost all of their Cap Space they have right now which is a risky move in the hopes that no one else gets hurt and then having to worry a bit of next year with no carry over. Wouldn't surprise me though to see the Patriots pull this one off. Always seems like when you don't expect them to do something they just go ahead and do it.

I feel that the Pats need more help on the O-line and a pass rusher, we can live with our WR/TE combo and Shane Vereen catching some passes, although we could use a good RB also.

Yes they are. They need defensive help but having him certainly wouldn't hurt the offense.
