I think SC laid a bogus claim and added the '39 natty for the hell of it, even though they didn't go undefeated and finished #3 in the country in 1939. You guys are awesome, my bad....

It's absurd to own a Range Rover? Live in Mission Viejo? Have yours schools shit on your car? I never lived in Mission Viejo but I did live in Newport Beach for about three years and Laguna Hills. Tons of USC Alums in OC. Not getting the absurdity.

IDK, you tell me. I was at the Coliseum when y'all played ASU in '04 and the school decided to claim the 1939 NC that day and recognized some of the surviving members. I remember thinking how the fuck are you going to claim a NC 65 years later when you finish #3 in the country? Then again, SC claims a natty in '03 when they didn't even play in the title game, so it didn't surprise me.

Did SC "claim" a natty or did the AP award them a natty? Before the playoffs there was no consistent system in place. Split national championships happened. you can claimUSCdidnt win a natty that year. But that doesn't change the fact they won a natty. SC should probably claim the natty bs Oklahoma since the NCAA investigation had major flaws. At least you got to see SC play ASU in 1939 tho
